Hanoi, Vietnam, 31 October-1 November 2017
The ViParc project was highlighted at the workshop “Sharing Experience in Intersectoral Coordination in Antibiotic Resistance Surveillance and Response in Vietnam” held at the Hanoi Club Hotel on October 31 and November 1, 2017.
This two-day workshop, organized by OUCRU-Hanoi, gathered over 60 medical doctors, researchers, Government, policy makers and international donors based in Vietnam. The aim of the workshop was to plan a coordinated strategy to address antimicrobial resistance research and policy in animals and humans in Vietnam. The ViParc project was showcased as an example of a large-scale applied research project with a strong advisory focus. The main outcome of the workshop was the establishment of a steering group whose membership and Terms of Reference will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
